The Law Courts building provides the following facilities:
Four Supreme Courtrooms, two Magistrates’ Courtrooms and a Coroner’s Courtroom
Public service counters for Supreme Court, Magistrates’ Court and HM Coroner’s Court matters
Private consultation rooms for lawyers and their clients
Public toilets
Accessible toilets
Baby changing facilities
Accessible public areas
Accessible Public counters
Hearing loops and BSL services are available at all public counters
Seated public waiting areas for the Supreme, Magistrates’ and HM Coroner’s Courts
Public lifts providing access to all courts
Private consultation rooms for court staff to deal with confidential enquiries
Air conditioning in all courtrooms and consultation rooms
CCTV in all public areas, for the safety of all court users
Secure waiting areas for vulnerable witnesses
Wi-Fi facilities for court users in all courtrooms
We are working to continuously improve our administration service and the facilities of the courts.
